2024 morgan hill mushroom festival program 43rd Annual Morgan Hill Mushroom Festival 16 MISSION OF THE MORGAN HILL MUSHROOM FESTIVAL The mission of the Mushroom Mardi Gras Festival (a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation), is to provide a fun and entertaining family festival with an emphasis on promoting the mushroom and educating consumers about the health benefits of mushrooms, all while financially awarding scholarships to high school seniors living within the boundaries of the Morgan Hill Unified School District, mini grants to elementary & middle schools and monetary donations to local nonprofit clubs and organizations. Hoffman . Mark is a self-taught illustrator and painter. He has illustrated children’s books, with the last one being, “Little George and the Christmas Socks”. Recently retired, he spends his time hiking, painting gourds and enjoying his free time with family and friends. He and his husband Rene Spring have lived here in Morgan Hill for the past 20 years and are happy to call it home.
