In this economic report, they’ll get the inside scoop on how to prepare for the year ahead, including Dr. Dietz’ forecast for the home buying and selling landscape, the prospect of housing affordability measures being enacted around the country, and what forthcoming federal policies will mean for builders and associates. In addition to the essential economic update, NAHB members are invited to participate in the 2026 Delegates Election for the NAHB Leadership Council. Delegates elected to the Leadership Council play a critical role in setting priorities and shaping policies that guide NAHB and the housing industry into the future. The Meeting of the Members will be immediately followed by the NAHB Leadership Council Meeting. Leadership Council Meeting | 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM The role of the NAHB Leadership Council is to serve as the policy-setting body for the Association. Delegates elected to the Council are eligible to vote on a broad range of issues that will be presented and discussed during the meeting. While the Leadership Council meeting is an open meeting, only delegates may vote on these important issues. The Leadership Council Meeting will also be livestreamed on NAHB.org.
