NAHB Member .......................................................... $325 per person Non-Member ............................................................. $400 per person Spouse Registration Any attendee can register a spouse for a $50 fee; however spouses who would like the full benefit of a paying registrant, e.g., a different company name on the badge and their own demographic information and company name encoded on the badge’s barcode, must register with a separate form and pay the applicable registration fee. Registration Credentials The official registration badge should be prominently displayed at all times for prompt admission to the exhibits and education sessions. Expo Pass Badges will not admit you to the IBS education sessions. Your badge will also entitle you to complimentary shuttle bus transportation between Official Show Hotels and the OCCC. Badges are not transferable and must not be loaned to anyone for any purpose during the Show. Use of a badge by anyone other than the person to whom it was issued is grounds for confiscation. Badges are color coded as follows: Blue: Attendee Red: Exhibitor Purple: Press Press Representatives Members of the news media that did not receive their badge in the mail prior to the Show can pick up their press credentials in the Press Registration Room located in W209-B of the OCCC beginning at 7:30am on Tuesday, February 8. Press badges will be issued to members of the “working press” at this location. Anyone registering on-site must show proper photo identification and press credentials to be considered for a complimentary press pass. Individuals from the business/advertising side of media organizations may register at any registration counter for the IBS or the KBIS. For the convenience of the working press, full facilities including wireless internet access, electrical connections and news releases will be provided in the Working Press Room, W208-C. Press Video Policy In addition to the requirements on page 9, the following guidelines must be followed to gain access to the Show floor with a video camera during Show hours: • Registered Production Companies and Videography Crews carrying a video camera must enter through a designated Media Entrance for each of the buildings the Show occupies. • NAHB/Emerald Expositions will issue each approved cameraman a Daily Camera Permit that must be affixed to the camera in a visible manner and clearly displayed at all times. No video cameras will be allowed in the exhibit area without a properly attached and properly displayed permit. No permit shall be issued for more than a single day. There are no exceptions to this policy. • All members of registered Videography Crews must wear an Exhibitor Badge or the correct Daily Wristband. • No other individuals will be permitted to carry a video camera into the exhibit area. NAHB and Emerald Expositions reserve the absolute right to change, augment, delete or otherwise modify this policy, as well as any other policies that relate to the management and administration of either show. By submitting an application for permission to tape at the show, the Production Company or Videography Crew recognizes and agrees to abide by the terms of this policy including, but not limited to, the preceding sentence. Once approved, NAHB/Emerald Expositions will provide final instructions and logistics for the approved recording dates. IBS Speaker Registration All official IBS speakers that did not receive their badge in the mail prior to the Show can pick up their credentials in the IBS Speaker Ready Room in W313. Qualified Speaker Registration is complimentary. Pre-Show Education Registration NAHB Education Courses and IBS Master Workshops will be held before the start of IBS. All Pre-Show Education requires a separate registration and fee. NAHB Education* will be held at the Hyatt Regency Orlando on Sunday, February 6 and Monday, February 7. Registration is located at the Registration Desk located in the Bayhill Foyer on the Lobby Level of the Hyatt (9801 International Drive). Registration for NAHB Education courses includes an IBS Expo Pass. IBS Master Workshops will be held in W304-A, W304-C, and W304-G at the OCCC on Monday, February 7. An IBS registration is required to purchase a Master Workshop ticket, however, only a Master Workshop ticket must be presented for entry to the session. Master Workshop tickets will be available to purchase at the IBS Special Events Ticket counter in the West Hall A Lobby, Level 1 for $75 per course. *Registration for NAHB Education will be held for 30 minutes after start time except for Train the Trainer. After 30 minutes seats may be released and are non-refundable. Please note that some classes begin at 9:00 am and some classes begin at 1:00 pm. Accessibility The OCCC is in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Concourses are designed with wheelchair ramps, automatic doors, passenger elevators and handicap-accessible restroom facilities. Arrangements to rent a wheelchair or a motorized scooter can be made through Scootaround Inc. This is a high demand service, and advance reservations are recommended.
