31 HBI Events at the International Builders’ Show HBI is the national leader for career training in the building industry. Through certification programs, pre-apprenticeships and job placement services, HBI prepares its students—including at-risk youth, veterans, transitioning military members, high school students, justice-involved youth and adults, and displaced workers—with the skills and experience they need for successful careers in the building industry. HBI graduates are trained and ready to work across many different sectors of the construction industry, giving business a competitive edge when hiring new workers.
