Capitola Mall Walking Join the Mall Walkers for health, fitness, and FUN! Meet friendly and supportive participants while you walk in a safe and protected environment. Walking is a wonderful way to be physically active! It’s easy, and it’s relatively risk-free. Walking is the most popular aerobic activity. We have monthly events and social gatherings at local eateries (lunch is not included). Come join us and be part of the movement. Drop by the entrance to the food court. *Stretch class at 9:30am. Location: Capitola Mall M/W/F 50 + Annual fee $25 Bridge Club Interested in playing Bridge. Everyone is welcomed from beginners to social players. Make new friends and sharpen your mind. Location: Aptos Branch Library M 10:30am Now until Dec 16th No class 5/27, 9/2, 10/14, 11/11 Tai Chi Tai Chi is an ancient art form that has developed over centuries, and it covers concepts that are designed to improve our quality of life. This beginner’s program is exactly what you may be looking for if you are seeking a gentle form of mindful, relaxing exercise and stretching involving movements performed in a slow, focused manner. This class can be taken standing, sitting, or a combination of both. Come join the fun! Wear comfortable closes, bring water and sturdy, supportive footwear. Location: Live Oak Community Room - Simpkins Family Swim Center Tu Dates: TBD 6:30-7:15pm $115/$127 Fitness at the Park A kinder, gentler aerobic workout appropriate for active adults who would like to include a low-intensity, low- impact workout in their fitness plans. Each class includes anaerobic conditioning and stretching segments. Get ready to stretch, exercise your upper body with resistant bands and lower body exercises to build strength and balance. We will recover with relaxation breathing techniques. *Please consult with your physician before participating in this class.
