He spends most of his free time with his family and friends. He enjoys hiking, cycling, gardening, doing jigsaw puzzles and Aikido. He also likes to travel and meet new people from dierent cultures and dierent religions. He speaks 3 languages fluently. English, Hindi, Telugu. He is also able to communicate in Spanish. He is a vegetarian and has great respect and love for animals. He completed his 3 year residency training in Implant dentistry at the Loma Linda school of dentistry. He got board certified by the American board of oral implantology in 2018. Dr. Sarat Ummethala believes in caring for his patients like he would care for his family. He is conservative in his treatment approach and only utilizes time tested and thoroughly researched treatment techniques and materials. He serves as a part time faculty member at the Center for implant dentistry at Loma Linda University. He spends his time here teaching dental residents in surgical and prosthodontic techniques. You will find Dr. Sarat to be a very easy going and a straightforward person. Most of his long term patients are now his personal friends. He believes in a minimalistic treatment approach — He provides the least invasive options to his patients to achieve the necessary results. He stays current with his knowledge to be able to provide the best care for his patients.
