H E A L T H + B E A U T Y Darrell Evans, the founder and Chief Executive Agent for Medicare Solutions USA, has been passionately helping the age 65+ population with making decisions on selecting a Medicare Plan for over two decades. It all began in 1986. While attending college, Darrell was offered a part-time job working for Transamerica Occidental, the company that administered the Medicare Part B contract. After 15 years and several promotions and department transfers, he discovered his calling and passion for helping people. In 2001, Darrell transitioned to SCAN Health Plan, where he became a Sales Representative serving the Inland Empire. He quickly became a Top- Producing Agent in the company, which lasted a span of 10 years straight. Over the years he won many awards for stellar sales performance, including the highly coveted, “ Sales Integrity Award ” (2015), awarded to those who best exemplifies putting the client’s needs first. By 2016, Darrell had accomplished most of his personal goals at SCAN and became a Mentor to several Medicare Sales Reps. Realizing the need, enhanced value and benefits of representing multiple Medicare Advantage Plans, he became an Independent Insurance Broker, where his success continued. The very next year (2017), he was named Broker of the Year by one of the Top FMO’s in California. In 2020, Darrell was awarded the Top Broker in California Award (AEP) by a leading, 4.5 Star Medicare Advantage Plan. Now, as a Medicare Insurance Broker, Agency Owner and Mentor to several Agents on the team, Darrell continues to take good care of his clients while also sharing strategies for success with his team of Medicare Brokers.
