RESULTS YOU LOVE An ever-changing world has made it di cult for those with busy lives to travel to the gym several times a week. A one-hour workout could turn into two or three hours between scheduling, getting ready, driving to the gym, preparing, working out and driving back home. For high-demanding lifestyles, it just doesn’t work anymore. The bottom line is – training from home saves time. Fitness expert Karla Adams said the body doesn’t care where the workout happens, it just needs to have the training. The key is to have the right program that fits an individual’s lifestyle, metabolism and goals, she noted. It is a personalized plan based on a custom formula. “You know it is the right plan because it just works and there are no issues,” she said. “Those who don’t achieve the desired results and are struggling to maintain the program are in a plan that doesn’t work for them.” Karla said many people get their nutritional advice from a marketing campaign, the grocery store or what they perceive as the social norm, and that is why they fail to reach their goals. She said real exercise science and sports nutrition are the answers. Karla has developed a virtual body budget program to help clients master their own personal goals. Most programs are over complicated and require too much exercise. Mind-to-muscle communication is highly misunderstood, but it is a key calorie burner and keeps people from getting injuries during workouts, Karla said, noting her home workout program has a form phase as well as a muscle balancing phase structured into the program. Karla said 10 percent of the population masters a lifestyle habit of regular exercise, but out of that 10 percent, 75 percent of them never reach the goal they set for themselves. And out of the 25 percent who do reach the goal, 90 percent are working with a professional. “The solution is ALWAYS ‘Life on life’s terms,’ and the cool thing is, we can figure out the plan and spend time mastering it by identifying a member’s muscle type, metabolic strengths and weaknesses and lifestyle patterns,” Karla said. “This is what my body budget system is designed to do.” Ask about our Photoshoot and Competition Schedule! Isolation is More Important than Location Best Abs There are di’erent abdominal muscles that strengthen our core and increase stabilization and functionality of our body. There are other abdominal muscles that give us the six pack. If you are looking to get a six pack, do the exercises for the visual e’ect as opposed to the ones that strengthen the core. Back and triceps Isolation is important when working the back muscles and triceps. In all upper and lower body exercises, targeting the desired muscle and relaxing the rest is key to achieving isolation. Just like yoga poses, isolation engages di’erent parts of the body at one time. This takes a lot of brain activity to align the mind and the muscle communication.
