Through strategic messaging, storytelling, marketing, and fundraising support, I help organizations connect with the people they serve and the supporters who make their work possible. Strong communication strengthens relationships, increases community engagement, and helps worthy causes secure the resources they need to grow. By amplifying voices that are making a positive dierence, Lampstand Communications contributes to a stronger, more connected community where organizations can thrive and expand their reach and influence. ALYSSA SAVALA Alyssa Savala has spent a little over a decade in the sports world, with seven of those years immersed in Community Relations and Foundation work. Across multiple professional sports organizations — including a community relations role with the Ontario Reign before joining the Firebirds — she has helped build and execute community programs and fundraising events, all while cultivating strong, lasting relationships with nonprofit partners. Now leading Community Relations and the One Valley Foundation for the Coachella Valley Firebirds, Alyssa drives initiatives that make a real di erence across the Coachella Valley — from street hockey and reading programs to health and wellness outreach. She also curates the Firebirds’ weekly online auctions benefiting One Valley Foundation and leads her team in managing the in-arena 50/50 Rae kiosks, helping generate critical funding for local beneficiary organizations. Her passion for serving her community has always been her compass, and getting to do that through sports — the thing she loves most — makes the work even more powerful. Whether she’s coordinating a rae, launching a new outreach program, or building a nonprofit partnership, Alyssa brings the same steady enthusiasm to every project: find the need, rally the right people, and get it done. For Alyssa, philanthropy isn’t a department — it’s a mindset, and one she’s proud to bring to families across the Valley one program, one partnership, and one rae at a time. KATE ANDERSON Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians Director of Public Relations Making A Di erence One of the greatest gifts we can give children in the Coachella Valley is access to higher education. Education transforms lives, strengthens families, and builds thriving communities. That’s why I’m proud to co-chair the free Regional College and Career Fair each year. Through an extraordinary partnership of schools, colleges, nonprofits, businesses, and the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, we help students and families explore opportunities and envision their future. Together, we send a powerful message: you are not alone, and the community is here to assist you in achieving success. When students thrive, our entire community thrives. And, this is the greatest reward. BROOKE BEARE BIGHORN Golf Club Director of Marketing Making A Di erence Every person is gifted with the opportunity to make a dierence through education and civic engagement. Attend a public outreach session or a free documentary, use the public parks, read agendas and newsletters, fill out a survey, divert your food waste, or volunteer. (Or all of those things!) When you invest in your community, you’ll be amazed at the dierence you will make in yourself, those around you, and where you live. Brooke is a past President and current Vice Chair of Desert Arc. PAM BIERI Pam Bieri Marketing & Media Relations Owner Making A Di erence Certified in Nonprofit Management and Grant Writing since 2018, Pamela has had the privilege of providing grant writing services for several of the Coachella Valley’s most interesting and diverse nonprofits. Among her clients are wonderful organizations that oer opportunities for kids to build character through golf; another that provides after-school and summer programs for Palm Springs youth; and one that has long-supplied adaptive mobility equipment, social inclusion for kids with disabilities, and many other family resources. Another client has brought world-class music to the Coachella Valley for nearly 70 years. It is an honor to be part of such incredible work. LINDI BIGGI Shadow Mountain Golf Club Owner Making A Di erence At 85, I can say I wouldn’t change much. Life has taught me that we don’t truly own anything—we’re tenants here, and our rent is how we leave the world for others. I’ve worn many hats: owning escrow companies, a bird store, a gift shop, and a food business. Founding Loving All Animals has been a heartfelt journey. Reviving Shadow Mountain Golf Course into a thriving community space has been a proud chapter. But above all, my love for animals is what I truly own—and gladly share—hoping others are inspired to help create a better world for them too.
