(SFTS), a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing services and support to survivors of domestic violence and their children, has announced the relocation of its Community Services Center and administrative offices to a new location in Cathedral City. The move marks another chapter in Shelter From The Storm’s continuing commitment to serving individuals and families throughout the Coachella Valley who are impacted by domestic violence. “Shelter From The Storm remains committed to providing a safe, supportive and compassionate environment for survivors as they work toward rebuilding their lives,” said Angelina Coe, Executive Director of Shelter From The Storm. “Our new Cathedral City office will provide a welcoming home for our organization as we continue this important work in our community.” Shelter From The Storm provides essential programs and resources designed to help survivors move from crisis toward safety, stability and independence. Through advocacy, education and supportive services, the organization works to empower survivors while increasing community awareness about domestic violence.
