Always Available ALL-DAY MENU California Style Cuisine & Fan Favorites The Sanctuary is accredited by the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries (GFAS), reflecting its commitment to high standards of animal care, safety, and responsible sanctuary management. Now located at Lost Creek Canyon Ranch in Whitewater, California, with beautiful views of the San Jacinto Mountains, each day at the Sanctuary begins early and revolves around the animals in its care. Some arrive because their owners can no longer care for them. Others return through the Sanctuary’s adoption contracts. Many require special diets, dental care, veterinary treatment, or simply a quiet, loving place to safely grow old. Every animal has a story. The goal is to make sure its next chapter is filled with stability, kindness, and dignity. So Cal Mini Horse Sanctuary is volunteer-run and supported through donations, sponsorships, and the generosity of people who believe these animals deserve a second chance. Rescue has become increasingly challenging as feed, veterinary, and operating costs continue to rise, but the Sanctuary’s commitment remains unchanged: to help responsibly while ensuring the animals already in its care receive everything they need. As fall approaches, the Sanctuary is preparing to welcome visitors back for private tours and educational experiences. These visits provide an opportunity to meet the animals, learn about miniature horses and responsible rescue, and discover the work that takes place behind the scenes every day. So Cal Mini Horse Sanctuary is more than a place where rescued animals live. It is a place built on compassion, second chances, and a simple belief at the heart of its mission: Every life matters. www.socalminihorse.com So Cal Mini Horse Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue and sanctuary dedicated to giving miniature horses and other animals a safe place to land when they have nowhere else to go. What began nearly 15 years ago with a love for miniature horses has grown into a lifelong mission of rescue, rehabilitation, responsible care, and providing sanctuary for animals that may never have another home.
